Bob wasn’t even nominated for S5, I doubt he’ll affect Jason that much But Jason is not that strong at the Emmys as showed by all his 3 acting nods, and as the show moves the focus from him to the women of the show, i can only see him winning with a sweep coming along.

I honestly don’t think either of them are particularly strong, but I do think there’s some kind of overlap.

Quote fron a Deadline interview with Peter Friedlander from Netflix today:

He highlighted returning shows next year such as Ozark, Russian Doll, Bridgerton and Stranger Things, but the streamer was quick to clarify that doesn’t mean that the latter will necessarily launch by the Emmy window in May.

Stranger Things also missing eligibility would be very hard for them.

Honestly, that’s perfect for them as they may actually have a period where they don’t overlap with anything – no other returning shows are doing January as far as we know right?

Wait is Bridgerton making Emmy eligibility? Hopefully it gets Westworld season 3’d!

Hadn’t we come to the conclusion it would nearly be impossible on post? They’re still filming. Even Stranger Things is wrapped.

I don’t know, Netflix is cagey, maybe that event this weekend sheds some light.

Perhaps when he’s referring to latter he means both Bridgerton and Stranger Things (they are the latter two shows mentioned in that grouping haha)?

So he is basically saying ST will miss. This Is Us and The Morning Show rise dears. I still think Bridgerton misses, as if one show benefited from the pandemic it’s really this one (you could say the same for TIU but the final season aspect of it will probably push it above this time around).

Possibly but gosh that’s tough on Ozark and putting a lot on new shows to step up that were probably never designed to be heavily campaigned. The only person I can think of who was ever talked about as being a possible contender in another returning show is maybe Penn Badgeley for You. But I guess stuff takes as long as it takes.

They need to actually campaign for Ozark next year though because they did nothing for season 3
