With the voting system the TCA employ (only allowing three ranked choices per category) I think either Succession gets double nominated in the individual achievement in drama category or misses entirely.

Unless they changed things recently, it’s actually an unranked ballot with 4 votes per category.

My apologies I was going off rules from quite a few years ago (I had forgotten the amount of votes one can cast were fixed on the amount of slots in a category)!

There’s no rhyme or reason for this at all but I have a weird gut feeling that the male Succession nominee will actually be Macfadyen.

FYC: Bad Sisters (Anne-Marie Duff) Cunk on Earth (Diane Morgan), Fleishman Is in Trouble (Lizzy Caplan/Claire Danes), Industry (Marisa Abela/Myha'la Herrold), Physical (Rose Byrne), Poker Face (Ellen Barkin/Joseph Gordon-Levitt/Chloë Sevigny), The White Lotus (Sabrina Impacciatore)

There’s usually an overlap with the Peabody honorees so I assume:

Dopesick: Program of the Year, Individual Drama (Michael Keaton), Limited Series and New Program

Yellowjackets: Program of the Year, Individual Drama (Melanie Lynskey), Drama and New Program

Only Murders in the Building: Program of the Year, Individual Comedy (Steve Martin and Martin Short), Comedy and New Program

PEN15: Comedy, Individual Comedy (Maya Erskine)

    Reservation Dogs: Comedy, New Program

Station Eleven: Limited Series, New Program

The Wonder Years in New Program wouldn’t surprise me since they usually try to support cable network.

I do think Dopesick will get in for program of the year in spite of the initial metacritic score because towards the end of the year it started to creep up on end of year critics lists and it feels a lot like the “important” choice of the field (à la Pose).
