Goddamn this show is so good I cried like a baby at this newest episode. Whattttttt. Have not been following the “discourse” but I feel roughly aligned with most people.

I’m not fan of that storyline but this show has always handled things well. So I’m open minded to see how things resolved.
Bill Lawrence said on Q and A twitter that it was set up in Season one.September 12, 2021 at 2:48 am #1204453340

The way it went from the highest rated episode of the show to the lowest.. I enjoyed the episode but they need to pick up the pace huns.September 17, 2021 at 10:06 am #1204465773
Cute episode but TV shows need to stop the trend of having a filler episode right after the big oneSeptember 17, 2021 at 10:27 am #1204465833
I loved this episode. The way they used Gary Lineker and Thierry Henry (Former footballers and now pundits) in this episode was incredible too. I can’t wait to see what kind of football cameos this show will get next season.
Brendan Hunt was so great here, and it’s the best he’s been, i’m really glad they gave him his own episode and there’s so much unpack for an episode some people are calling filler.
A character who’s purprose in life is essentially to help others and make them happy while he’s there suffering on the inside (Highlighted through the football supporters having the night of their lives), yet he’s such an internal character, no one seems to realise what he’s going through.
I loved this examination of Coach Beard and was the episode I didn’t know we needed, but he’s gonna be such a fascinating character to rewatch after this episode.September 17, 2021 at 12:53 pm #1204466181
A good episode. I was convinced it was a mental health breakdown type of dream sequence until the very end. It might still have been.
I still don’t understand the whole Jane thing, but I’m not sure it really matters. Also another week of two huge songs – music budget must be astronomical, but it is certainly appreciated.
