Filming has begun on The Crowded Room in NYC and is scheduled to film until September. P

The Crowded Room comes from Akiva Goldsman and has been described as a “seasonal anthology” telling inspirational stories about those who have learned to live with mental illness. It will be based partly on Goldsman’s own life, and also inspired by The Minds of Billy Milligan, a biography written by Daniel Keyes’ biography. The first starts filming in March and will contain 10 episodes.

A lot of people are already criticizing this as a demonization of DID, which I can kind of see even if it’s based on a true story. I do hope they treat the subject with respect, and obviously I’m stanning Holland for major award recognition (if not this then for the Fred Astaire movie).

We might have a date, Colleen Litchfield joined the cast and wrote on her website that the show will be released in autumn (september-december). I think November is a solid date
