However, I think I could have done without half of the characters/storylines (Rosie Perez, the two detectives, the guy who hired Michelle Gomez, etc).
I was completely blown away by these two initial episodes. Silver Tree will definitely get nominated for the the first episode and there’s one particular scene that is brilliantly directed. I just hope they can keep it low profile on the Cassie/Max/Annie trio because they’re gold. BUT considering their choices for the allucinations I think they understood what the audience wants: Put Kaley on screen!!!
Whoever is paying attention will probably crack the case by the end of the second episode, but that’s what I like the most on a whodunit and the “mystery” will never be the show’s main priority.
Someone mentioned jokinly that Kaley could be like Claire Foy, and now I agree. I think she will have material to win if the season blows up in noms and with the audience.

Finished watching the first two episodes and have to agree with this completely. The way you think you know everything about Cassie and then Cuoco shows something new. And the direction – chef’s kiss.

Do you think she’ll be featured in more episodes this season?

Michelle Gomez? No, article said she was filming Doom Patrol n she barely could do one episode

Playing the four versions of Cassie is giving her great opportunities to showcase both subtlety and totally out there. Her postures and gestures are fully tailored to each personality.
Plot is fun if secondary to the characters and the supporting cast is excellent again.
