Whilst I love Carrie I think what makes me so excited about the prospect of an Elsbeth spin off is that she’s such a distinctive and unique character that there’s a lot of potential for this to be a really absurd series that I don’t think there has ever really been on network television (at least in a long time).

Solidarity with the striking writers. Pay them the wages they are owed for bringing us the content we are all on here because of!

This is so unexpected and so exciting! I’m not a fan of police procedurals, but the Kings did such incisive episodes on the genre on Evil that I’m sure they’ll handle this very well. I’m also glad that this sounds quite distinct from The Good Wife and The Good Fight; I honestly don’t think they could do a legal series better than Fight, so I’m glad they’re pivoting while still picking up one of their most unique characters!

the 1% ratings good wife was getting when it was ending would be huge hit numbers nowadays. of course, it’s doubtful that 100% of those viewers would follow to this new show. even 50% would be good though.
