    Premiere was really solid.

The premier was super good, and can we note how great the cast is?!

Such a great first episode. This is so up my alley. The whole cast is excellent but Coolidge and Britton are perfection, Coolidge especially. She’s so fucking good and makes so many unexpected but brilliant choices. I wish I could binge the whole thing now but I’m excited to watch things unfold as the weeks go by. It reminds me of Succession a bit, in that it’s pretty dramatic but also extremely funny. I found myself laughing out loud throughout the entire episode.

Hope this can last till next years Emmy’s! I’m already rooting for Coolidge and Britton (and the writing).

I’m sorry but Murray Bartlett is not getting the deserved love here.

I’m sorry but Murray Bartlett is not getting the deserved love here.

I’ve never seen his work before but he was excellent!

Alexandra Daddario and Jake Lacy were also so great. Their characters seemed kind of bland in the trailers as the newlyweds but I really liked them. As a side- if they weren’t paying for the more expensive room, I’d agree with Daddario’s character and just forget about it…but he is absolutely right in being angry because the hotel is charging them for something they didn’t get.

I’m excited to see Britton’s character flesh out and show her complexities. And Coolidge cracked me up. Zahn is always on form. Sweeney and O’Grady were pitch perfect as the new generation of bitches- the way they treated Daddario was so realistic to the way teenagers are casually and subtly cruel nowadays.

Excited to see where this goes. That hour flew by.

Have you not seen “Looking” yet? Get on that binge ASAP!

I could envision in a lesser limited series and lesser casting choice how someone like Will Ferrell would have played Armond instead, which would have trivialized the character unnecessarily.

I had no idea Survivor’s Mike White is behind this! Based on the first episode, this should be a perfect summer watch.

I really enjoyed the first episode and based on the promo it seems like it will only get better. That being said, it’s worrying that so many great HBO dramas are one-and-done lately.

This cast is already delivering one episode in. Once again, when will SAG add a Limited Series Ensemble award? Bartlett, Coolidge and Sweeney were my standouts from the first episode but I’m looking forward to further exploration with every single character. I know this is a limited series, and there is some kind of overarching mystery it appears, but this feels like the kind of conceit that could have a new cast (of guests at least) every season. Looking forward to this perfectly timed summer treat!
