This was perhaps my favorite episode of the season so far. Loved the character dynamics that were explored and the air of what this show does best: detrimental secrets and silent mistrust. It seems like the subplots are finally starting to connect and the tension has reached a fever pitch. Simona Tabasco and Beatrice Grannò are excellent as always and Aubrey Plaza was also great.
• FYC: Everything Everywhere All at Once in any and every single category, especially Best Picture, Michelle Yeoh in Actress, Stephanie Hsu in Supporting Actress, The Daniels in Director/Screenplay, Paul Rogers in Editing, and Son Lux in Score.
November 21, 2022 at 7:03 am #1205162513Watching this season (which I think I’ll comment on in full once it ends), I totally understand the preseason buzz for Aubrey Plaza and Meghann Fahy (well, I can see the cards being laid for the latter in the back half of the season), but I’m confused as to why I read less about Beatrice Grannò and Simona Tabasco. Not only are their performances compelling and bringing the fun Italian energy this season needed to differentiate itself, but their entanglements in truly every major plotline makes them more vital than, say, F. Murray Abraham and Michael Imperioli.
November 22, 2022 at 1:06 pm #1205164231I LOVED the latest episode. 🔥 🔥 literally.
November 22, 2022 at 1:14 pm #1205164239I felt like the person who was going to die was (kinda) obvious by now as Armond was showing his downward spiral pretty clearly but I am stumped with who it’s going to be this season.. I feel like Ethan or Cameron would make sense, but at the same time I think someone from the Di Grassio family is going to. I don’t know I think there’s such a strong emphasis on gender dynamics this season that it’ll definitely be a man who dies. i

November 27, 2022 at 7:55 am #1205168087This season is somehow better than the first. Aubrey Plaza, F. Murray Abraham and Simona Tabasco are my MVPs in what is a flawless cast.

I love this show, i was behind on 3 eps and just binged, this cast is just perfection.
I’m sorry but Jennifer Coolidge is my MVP so far, what she did on eps 2 and 3 was iconic. Please! These gays, they're trying to murder me!
November 27, 2022 at 10:35 am #1205168192Good show, not as good as the first one, but still compelling, so far, the best performance is by Aubrey Plaza. The other performances are okay, nothing amazing.

November 28, 2022 at 1:58 am #1205168791Me at the end of the latest episode
FYC:
Zar Amir Ebrahimi - Holy Spider (Best Actress)
Ana de Armas, Julianne Nicholson - Blonde (Best Actress, Supporting Actress)
Samantha Morton - She Said (Best Supporting Actress)
Kerry Condon - The Banshees of Inisherin (Best Supporting Actress)November 28, 2022 at 2:23 am #1205168806Amazing season. The three threads are coalescing beautifully, and I’m on the edge of my seat during every episode. Absolutely howling by so much of this, from Harper’s inner rage/horniness toward Cameron to Tanya waving to the “queen of Sicily” at the opera house lmao, to of course the final scene, which for some reason I didn’t see coming at all. Major episodes for both Jennifer Coolidge and Aubrey Plaza. Daphne’s revelation about her “trainer” was another scorcher as well. Can’t believe there’s only two episodes left to this, but thankfully S3 will help keep Mike White booked and busy. His mind, bitches!
November 28, 2022 at 4:08 am #1205168826This season has gotten so good.. Aubrey Plaza is killing it.
