Goes without saying that I could be wrong of course but I think it is going to be one of if not both of Ethan and Cameron. Perhaps White has something else up his sleeve to surprise us but I feel like their absence from the opening scene was a deliberate call back to the start of the first season and I feel like it would be a bit cliched to have something similar with them and Harper turning up at the end and move on. I also feel like it would be a symbolic form of closure towards the sub-plot with both of them if returning to their old toxic college ways their own lives are quite literally destroyed. It would also be thematically different from Armond dying at the end of the last season and with Rachel and Belinda both becoming victims of Tanya and Shane’s privilege and entitlement whilst also providing a connective tissue for the future seasons to build upon.

December 8, 2022 at 5:19 am #1205182872I kinda think it’s gonna be Harper and Tanya that die. I have no justification for this (nor do I have any idea who kills), just a random hunch

What? Really? I’ve been shocked by how good he is. Have met so many people like that character and think he’s done an amazing job of pulling off that kind of audacity.

My post was misleading – I wasn’t commenting on the acting. The character is just so painfully annoying (I know he’s meant to be, but still). Living in London, I also encounter plenty of people like this 💀 I think ‘amazing job’ is a bit much though. It’s not a complex role.

I so disagree. I think it’s far harder to nail a role like this that could be an archetype on the page and give it depth and believability than it is to deliver a great performance as an already complex character.

Agreed! He’s perfect in this.

Jack is an amazing character – Leo Woodall has created an Essex boy I want to sleep with. IMO this is an extraordinarily high degree of difficulty so bravo to him.
I’ve enjoyed this season quite a lot more than season 1, it’s deliziosa. Mike White is an absolute genius. Can’t wait for tomorrow.

You should see him in A Poet in New York. The Feud casting is just exciting and feels almost too perfect to be true.

December 11, 2022 at 4:26 pm #1205188810I shouldn’t even try to predict who’s offed tonight, but I have a hunch that expectations will be upended in the finale. What if those deaths (Rocco referenced in the premiere that there are multiple bodies) are collateral damage from a separate event of some sort and all of our principal leads leave Sicily unscathed? Might be anticlimactic to some, but maybe that’s just me not wanting to see these characters’ stories end here.
