August 31, 2019 at 8:06 am #1203050413OMG this trailer! I’ve never really been hyped for this show, but this just got me VERY excited. Asante Blackk, Nick Wechsler, Jennifer Morrison and the return of Phylicia Rashad? My goodness.

ReplyCopy URLAugust 31, 2019 at 9:06 am #1203050489Nice to see Marsha Stephanie Blake, who has also joined How To Get Away With Murder season 6.
ReplyCopy URLAugust 31, 2019 at 9:17 am #1203050496I couldn’t count all those guest stars! Jennifer Morrison’s role looks significant. Looks like the casting director watched a ton of “When They See Us,” which is just another sign of its industry support and that it’s winning Limited Series. Marsha Stephanie Blake seems to be everywhere lately. Hmmm. Also Asante Blackk. Was that M. Night near the end? Phylicia Rashad is returning too, which is all that matters anyways. 9/24/19, bitches!

AndorAugust 31, 2019 at 10:05 am #1203050560I hope ‘extended premiere event’ means longer episode 1.
Edit: It means just that!
The premiere episode will also be extended, airing linearly on Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. and ending “shortly after 10 p.m.,” per the network.

ReplyCopy URLSeptember 24, 2019 at 8:44 am #1203099872This returns tonight. Very excited about the new characters and new stories moving forward. I must say, i’m lowkey worried about this show’s future Emmy prospects, especially in Drama Series. The competition looks tough but I have faith we’ll pull through!

Synopsis: Jack meets Rebecca’s parents; new characters are introduced.
Discuss.
ReplyCopy URLSeptember 25, 2019 at 5:15 am #1203101366Weird season premiere. I’m certainly curious about these “strangers” and how they fit into the overall Pearsons fabric. It looks like the casting director was clearly a fan of “When They See Us,” which makes me happy. Asante Blackk and Marsha Stephanie Blake made strong first impressions. Omar Epps, Jennifer Morrison, Griffin Dunne, Elizabeth Perkins and particularly Tim Matheson had some standout moments. Future Jack though…meh, I don’t know. Not sold on the actor playing him or his odd timeline yet, but I’m far more invested in seeing the challenges that Kate and Toby will face in raising a blind child. Nothing will ever be easy for those two, it seems. The main focus was on Jack and Rebecca, which was nice, but it sidelined just about everyone else, especially Randall and Beth. Next week, the series goes back to its “traditional episodes,” so we’ll see more of the Big Three eventually (yay!) and more of the kids (sigh). Regardless, here we go with season 4!
ReplyCopy URLSeptember 25, 2019 at 11:23 am #1203101976A bold and risky premiere. After watching I had a strong feeling most people would absolutely hate it but it turns out more people like it than I thought. It seems Cassidy and Malik’s characters will be the most important of the new cast members. I’m looking forward to how each of them interacts with our favorite family. I think Jennifer Morrison did good work here.
The preview for next week looks fun… another trip to the pool!
