What do you all think are some of the TV Episodes with the Best Acting?

My personal picks would probably have to be “The Suitcase” (Mad Men) and “Whitecaps” (The Sopranos)

Q&A from Homeland-The main interrogation scene alone should have this episode here.

The Disruption – Succession, greatest performance so far from Jeremy Strong and Sarah Snook

Hunting – Succession, greatest performance from Brian Cox

I stood with the main 3, but all the cast is deserving in all 25 eps so far.

    Emmy winner Matthew Macfadyen!!

The Handmaid’s Tale S2 – The Last Ceremony. Elisabeth Moss was fucking powerful in this episode and gave the BEST TV performance of the decade.

I’d say Q&A from Homeland S2 was the one which really stood out for me.

If we’re talking ensemble rather than just one actor, “Tell Tale Hearts” from Big Little Lies. Such a showcase.

There isn’t a possible answer other than The Good Wife’s “The Last Call”.

They obviously weren’t two parters but I always feel like they’re spiritually connect as episodes. The performances, the writing, the fact I cried during one of them and was on edge during the other.

That season being paid dust (outside of Margulies, thank goodness she won) is one of the worst things the TV academy have ever done.
