Granted I really really like the show but this is such an inspired choice! I can’t recall the last time I ever saw an Irish black comedy top an American critics list.

Bad Sisters was one of My favourite shows of 2022 , mostly because of Bang scene-stealing performance.

50. ChloeI always find The Guardian’s list to be the most interesting because of how staggered it is but it’s interesting to me that shows like Barry, Chloe and The English are in the bottom 10 because usually shows as acclaimed as they are tend to place much higher whilst stuff like the final season of Line of Duty and the second season of Ozark tend to show up in the 50 to 30 range in spite of receiving middling to ok reviews in general. I usually get bored once it gets to the top 5 because from then it just becomes really predictable (like in 2020 when the top 2 were so clearly going to be I Hate Suzie and I May Destroy You or last year when no.1 was so clearly going to be It’s a Sin) but I’m curious to see what ends up making it to the top 10 this year.

Me seeing The Good Fight on a list from one of the most esteemed media publications today
only for it to be in a position where it doesn’t count for Metacritic…

It hasn’t finished airing for the year yet. Same with The White Lotus : Sicily. Although it was doing much better this time last year than both are now Succession also started off really slow on these lists but then sky-rocketed to no.1 after “All the Bells Say” aired.

December 2, 2022 at 8:40 am #1205175294I’m so salty about OMITB flopping so far. Like even though im in the minority and I don’t agree that S2 is worse than S1, I think it still is a great season of TV in 2022 and should be in some lists. Just my opinion of course.
