Stranger Things is one of my favorite things to watch but I thought season 4 was the worst season by far. It was a mess expect the Hawkins (amazing) arc.
I just think that Stranger Thing is made to be watched with zero cynicism present, that’s the key. I, as the majority of viewers, enjoyed all the arcs (some more than others of course) precisely because I as able to remove my cynicism completely.

It’s ridiculous that over 50 actors have 10 or more Emmy nominations; in contrast, there are only 5 actors who have 10 or more Oscar nominations, and the Oscar Awards are 20 years “older” than the Emmy Awards (1929 vs. 1949.)

See: “short form online animated variety” nonsense a la Grammys.

July 13, 2022 at 7:10 am #1205013875Emmys clearly uses namecheck and when they love a show, they nominate it in every category even if it’s not deserving. They don’t actually reward quality or performances and that’s why they become irrelevant.

and the lead drama actress category would be a lot better with them

She would have easily gotten in as well

is this unpopular?
