After our first blowout (Sandra Oh leading Jodie Comer 80/20 at time of writing), it’s time for our next split.

This is a particularly interesting one as Strong was able to overcome it and win the Emmy for season 2. But at SAG this year, albeit with Culkin in the mix as well, Lee Jung Jae was able to triumph suggesting that perhaps more of a split had begun to form.

Let’s see if this one can give us a hint for our Emmy predictions.

It should easily be brian for this season . Would be criminal if he doesn’t win .

I actually preferred Strong over Cox this season. With that said, I would still vote for the latter since he hasn’t won yet.

Brian Cox has won an Emmy, just not for Succession

I was obviously talking about Succession.

Cox should have won for S2 and Strong for S3

This was Brian Cox’s season, so an easy vote for him here.

    Season 1: Jeremy Strong
    Season 2: Brian Cox
    Season 3: Jeremy Strong

I thought Strong was quite bad in season 2 but came back strong (no pun intended) in season 3. Meanwhile, Cox was great in season 2 and went terrible in season 3. So Strong it is.

It was 50/50 for me until the last 3 episodes of the season. Strong takes the lead.

    It’s 21 votes apiece right now …

Bill Hader and Barry in everything (2 babka)
The Great - Elle Fanning, Nicholas Hoult and comedy writing and directing

Severance in drama series, writing, Adam Scott for best actor, Ben Stiller for drama directing, and the whole cast in supporting.
