Many choices this time!  Commas are allowed in polls, right?

On the Run. Doubt anyone’s surprised given my profile.

I voted the last option. Recently binged this show and loved On the Run but I have to go with Whenever You’re Ready. I know Guest2018 has been tormenting people about this show for ages but I actually think props should be given to the writing of The Good Place for arguably transforming the idea of sitcom. I mean I’d argue The Good Place is more of a dramedy than a sitcom and that Schitt’s as a conventional sitcom is better written but creating a show that is largely plot based whilst executing its comedic and dramatic chops quite well is a big feat to me.

Props to all the nominees here though because they are all excellently written. I would say that I am quite looking forward to the What We Do in the Shadows theme being played continuously as the nominees for writing are presented. The only thing that would make the ceremony better is if the producers decided to show the script of the episodes running on the side whilst they play the clips like they do at the BAFTAs and Oscars and like they did last year at the Emmys because I quite enjoy that.

Solidarity with the striking writers. Pay them the wages they are owed for bringing us the content we are all on here because of!

I loved the songs in Collaboration, but I have to go with Schitt’s Creek.

It's about the chaotic editing in Moulin Rouge!

I absolutely agree, but no one can beat Jackie Daytona.

On The Run pretty much got the show into this series race imo, so yeah, I’d go with that.

For those of you that haven’t seen What We Do In The Shadows, get on that now! You won’t regret it. It’s such a fun show.

On the Run is my favourite and I voted that I would be voting for it, but then I remembered that Whenever You’re Ready is nominated and I definetly would be voting for that lmao.

I’d just like to note, all future polls should have “I didn’t watch but want to see the results” as an option.

I actually loved “Ghosts”, but I’d vote for “On the Run”.
