As great as Elizabeth Olsen is, the one that keeps me amazed every episode is Paul Bettany.

*spoiler for episode 5 and theories about future episodes*
The prevailing theories seem to be that he either really is the FOX X-Men Quicksilver who has been abducted from his universe by someone (Wanda? Agnes?) and sent into the MCU or someone else (either a random civilian or Mephisto (basically the Marvel Devil) trying to trick Wanda) who just looks like Quicksilver.

Darcy sent a message to someone in the last episode and this character reapeared. I think it’s a illussion and maybe she was calling Dr Strange.

–I read a theory on Reddit that Agnes isn’t actually Agatha but Nightmare (one of the Fear Lord demons, the ruler of the dream dimension who can augment reality based on a subjects dream’s, thought’s and well nightmares).
It was brought up because when Wanda went back into outside world, she said “you really think I’m doing this by myself”.

.I really don’t think that’s Quicksilver from Fox X-Men nor do I think it’s an exchange of Actor. At least, in the literal sense. When Wanda called him Pietro, he didn’t quite get it and responded in a very odd way and he didn’t recognize Vision and Aaron’s Quicksilver met Vision. So this Quicksilver is definitely not a ‘reincarnation’ of the other one. I do believe in the theory that he’s either Mephisto or Nightmare. I’m leaning towards the latter since I think the former might be a bit too complex and I’m not seeing Marvel going that way (yet). Also, I’m getting more confident with each passing episode that Wanda is not the one in control of that place. I agree with those who are suspicious of Agnes.

ReplyCopy URLFebruary 8, 2021 at 8:42 am #1204030394I just caught up with the five episodes and I’m mesmerized. I wasn’t excited because I never really cared for the two characters, but this is so much more than what Marvel usually does. Also, as a non-American I feared the sitcom homages will hurt my watching experience, but it totally works. American audiences just have more easter eggs.
I haven’t been paying attention, but is this definitely going limited?
ReplyCopy URLFebruary 12, 2021 at 3:07 am #1204038642The way this show just keeps getting better and better! I’m so excited for next week’s 2000s episode.

Not Wanda turning the agents into literal clowns.

ReplyCopy URLFebruary 19, 2021 at 9:46 am #1204050047I’m really curious how they’ll end up submitting at the Creative Arts. The rules give some freedom to limited series for “single parts”, but it might just end up being a fantasy series.
