Well technically he was specifically referring to his own storyline/character development. And regardless of the writing, the idea that Harris ‘lowers’ himself by being on Westworld is ridiculous.

I don’t see how any of the actors could be with the material they got outside of Wood and Thompson.

Have people seen most of the stuff he has done this past decade? Harris can do a lot worse than being on Westworld of all things. His first two episodes were actually very good material for him.
ReplyCopy URLA Negroni. Sbagliato. With Prosecco in it.

It’s just another example in the long line of people doing too much on Westworld.

Takes nothing away from my comment. The show has helped him get more recognition for his craft/ talent and expanded his profile even further. Period.
ReplyCopy URLMay 7, 2020 at 3:25 pm #1203470009I agree with the sentiments that Westworld gets over criticized. I know this wasn’t the best season but it’s nowhere as bad as some people make it out to seem. The cast as been underutilized save Wood but you can’t deny that even with their weaker material they still are mesmerizing to watch. I feel like Westworld and Killing Eve to an extent as well continue to be criticized because people are just bored with the shows and have nothing else to do. I try to spend less time in the forums because there are a lot of demeaning comments and now especially is not the time to become so over zealous.

I think my biggest issues with season three is how soulless the show has become. The impression I had when watched the beggining of the second half of season 3 (I never finished that season) was that nothing matters, I didn’t care about any character’s life or the point of any plot. Even in the messy season 2, there was life, danger and we had some killer episodes (even season 3 had some great moments). But the third season bored me. The world they build was an empty world. There was so much potential from the to go after season 2.
I don’t think the show is over, but I’m skeptical about this season, I’ll wait for audiences and critics to respond to see if it’s worth the time.
