Season One of True Detective is now one of my all-time favorite television seasons I’ve ever seen. Absolutely amazing!!!

Just watched the pilot to “Rain Dogs,” a British import that recently premiered after “Perry Mason” on HBO. Currently 88 on Metacritic, with a standout performance from lead Daisy May Cooper. She’s 100% that bitch, and if by any luck, she’ll be a legitimate Emmy contender this cycle in lead actress comedy. It’s a small ensemble it seems, with child actress Fleur Tashjian a natural and unassuming counter to Cooper without all of that precocious baggage that routinely annoys me. Jack Farthing is another must-see as Selby, the wildcard gay family friend with an unpredictable violent streak. I have no idea where things are headed, but I’m all in for the journey. It’s so dark and unnerving, but that’s what I’m here for in my comedies lol. Seek this one out immediately!

I restarted Better Call Saul bc I never watched past s4 years ago & I just finished s5 and huns.. that was truly an excellent season of tv and the Emmys did it so dirty.. the run of 5×6-5×10 was really incredible.

Class of 07 on Prime, which they probably won’t submit. It is a Prime Australia original where the premise is getting stuck at your school reunion during the apocalypse. A tad too bawdy and unhinged but pretty fun – recommended if you think “Yellowjackets, but make it comedy” is a good idea.

It’s only been out a couple of days and is at least #1 in Australia (and charting most places) but yeah it’s really fun.
