Drama:
Viola Davis – “Who I am is a 53-year-old woman from Memphis, Tennessee…”
Cicely Tyson – This won’t be her episode, but the scene in the finale, in which she tells Annalise to “show up”Laura Linney – The car scene or Wendy yelling at Ben
Julia Garner – Her heart-to-heart with Wyatt after being released from the hospital
Tom Pelphrey – The cab monologue
Janet McTeer – “Enough! Get Out!”
Jason Bateman – I have no ideaNicole Kidman – Her scene on the stand
Laura Dern – “Get the f*ck out of my car” (which they would never show due to swearing)
Meryl Streep – Her scene on the stand
Reese Witherspoon – Either her yelling at her daughter because of college or her emotional climate change speechElisabeth Moss – Either the scene in which she points the gun at Kiki and then breaks down or where she takes control from Commander Lawrence
Yvonne Strahovski – Serena’s reunion with Baby Nichole or the scene in which she breaks down afterwards back in the chamber
Ann Dowd – Where Aunt Lydia lashes out at Janine
Bradley Whitford – “Do not tell me how to speak to MY WIFE!”
Alexis Bledel – The scene in which she reads the story to her son
Julie Dretzin – Practically any scene she had
Christopher Meloni – The moment right before June kills him
O-T Fagbenle – Either the scene in which he receives June’s phone call or his look in the finale when he hopes for Hannah to be among the childrenJune 3, 2020 at 8:46 am #1203514388Drama:

O-T Fagbenle – Either the scene in which he receives June’s phone call or his look in the finale when he hopes for Hannah to be among the childrenI agree with these, especially The Handmaid’s Tale scenes. Though I think Ozark should use the following:
Linney – Wendy yelling at Ben at the rest stop, because it’s so well contained without need for prior context. (“Who were you talking to? … Are you trying to get yourself killed? Are you trying to kill my family? … If she doesn’t get what she wants, she will kill my children…”), and could even include the phone call with Marty if a cut is allowed.
McTeer – Helen getting waterboarded, because those are dramatic stakes that can also be self-contained
Garner – Ruth upset in the hospital when it’s clear the Byrdes won’t punish Frank Jr. (“If this were Charlotte…”/”I’ll kill him myself.”)
Pelphrey – That cab ride is amazing, but will be so dang difficult to cut an excerpt for the time allotted. The same scene for Linney at the truck stop would for Pelphrey when Ben breaks down in the car. (“Nashville. I still know a few people there…”)
