Also feel free to provide your personal ranking of the nominees in this category.

Curious as to why you’d post a poll about this specific race considering Julia won for one of the most acclaimed VEEP episodes in the second if not most acclaimed season, and also is anyone that passionate about any of these other performances? There’s no Poehler in Parks or Kudrow in the Comeback here to challenge JLD.

    Is this even close?

Julia Louis-Dreyfus in a SLAM DUNK! What a LEGEND. I can’t imagine anyone else.

This was easily JLD’s best performance in the entire series.

I did really love Laurie Metcalf in Getting On, but yeah. This is Julia’s without a doubt.

I actually think Laurie Metcalf has the strongest submission here.

Out of this line-up I would vote for Julia.
Considering all the contenders, I would easily give the win to Aya Cash (You’re the Worst), with Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) as a close runner-up

Tracee deserved to win the following year for “Being Bow-racial.”

The only year she actually submitted an episode which was a good showcase for her.

    Oscars FYC:

"Summer of Soul" – Picture, Film Editing and Documentary Feature

“The Green Knight” – in all categories
