The twilight scene was everything 😭😭 this season is so goodOctober 1, 2021 at 5:44 am #1204495886
Loving this season, The Casino and The Escape are among the show’s all-time best. I’m hoping they plan on submitting for awards more strategically this season (I still think that the show could win at WGA or the Emmys in the right field) but at this stage it’s hard to guess what the consensus choice would be. Maybe episode 9 or 10 since many of the regular writers are credited.
The actors’ potential category placements are such a headache. I believe that Berry and Novak both went lead in s2 and they were basically equal presences throughout except for Berry’s showcase episode. However, Novak is inarguably the lead of s3 so far and killing it; I’d actually consider moving Berry to supporting for the sake of giving Novak less competition. But then if supporting is a more open race is it wise for the show to submit 3 of its main cast there? It’s a mess.
I can’t remember whether Demetriou went lead or supporting last season. She could go either way for s3 and it wouldn’t be the worst case of fraud we’ve ever seen.October 15, 2021 at 5:41 am #1204519999
The Wellness Center: KAVYAN NOVAK JUST DID THAT! Hilarious episode, written by Stefani Robinson. And whoever thought of re-doing the theme song, *chef’s kiss* gennniiiuuusss!
FYC: Succession, Severance, Hacks & The White Lotus for the win!October 15, 2021 at 8:39 pm #1204521347
Novak’s had an amazing season so far but if he somehow does manage to sneak into Actor I think he’s found his submission. The Wellness Center is brilliant, it’s just as strong a showcase as Berry got last year with On the Run. I’m also really interested to see where this episode takes the season; a bit worried about next week being titled “A Farewell”. It had better not be any of the main cast.October 18, 2021 at 10:35 am #1204524679
It’s simply mind-blowing how much they manage to pack in a single episode. They could easily do hour long episodes and it would still be sharp and witty as ever.October 18, 2021 at 11:08 am #1204524762
As someone that didn’t enjoyed the first two seasons I’ve to say that I’m cracking up with this season. Right now it’s my frontrunner.October 22, 2021 at 5:52 am #1204531873
I’m gonna be very sad if Mark Proksch doesn’t return next season…October 22, 2021 at 6:15 am #1204531894
I was really enjoying the Laszlo and Colin Robinson’s friendship. I will miss it.October 22, 2021 at 12:21 pm #1204532690
I was really enjoying the Laszlo and Colin Robinson’s friendship. I will miss it.
The reveal in this week’s episode had a better payoff than Nate’s arc in Ted Lasso’s second season. I’m only mentioning it because both storylines were foreshadowed during the whole season. Not now
