Most of the recent Drama Guest Actress winners will fill this list.

I agree so much with you.

Margo Martindale – 2015 Guest Actress Drama for The Americans.
Cherry Jones – 2019 Guest Actress Drama for The Handmaids Tales
Claire Foy – 2021 Guest Actress Drama for The Crown

The Schitt’s Creek sweep was something… Didn’t deserve at least half of its wins.

Totally agree especially Eugene Levy. Catherine O’Hara maybe won for her overall performance on the show but she had really few to do in the final season…

    Literally the worst possible answer.

I never understood Archie Panjabi’s win in 2010. I think she was great in that role, but there was absolutely nothing in that reel that said “win” to me. She would have been no higher than fifth in my rankings. Especially when Christina Hendricks and Christine Baranski had great submissions — even Sharon Gless’s submission that year was terrific, though she was fighting the genre show battle.

I wouldn’t necessarily say Panjabi’s win was the least deserving (I do always pretend she won for her incredible work in season 2) but Christina Hendricks’ performance in “A Guy Walks into An Advertising Agency” is greater than the work most performers put into the entirety of their show’s runs.

    FYC:

"The Good Fight", "The Other Two" and "Station Eleven" in all categories, Sarah Lancashire ("Julia"), William Jackson Harper ("Love Life") and Luke Kirby ("The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel")

    Olivia Colman

    Tobias Menzies

    Evan Peters

    Cherry Jones for THT

Annie Murphy (should have won before but Borstein deserved her 3rd win that year)
