I think she was great in that role, but there was absolutely nothing in that reel that said “win” to me. She would have been no higher than fifth in my rankings. Especially when Christina Hendricks and Christine Baranski had great submissions — even Sharon Gless’s submission that year was terrific, though she was fighting the genre show battle.
ReplyCopy URLJune 23, 2022 at 1:23 pm #1204994374I wouldn’t necessarily say Panjabi’s win was the least deserving (I do always pretend she won for her incredible work in season 2) but Christina Hendricks’ performance in “A Guy Walks into An Advertising Agency” is greater than the work most performers put into the entirety of their show’s runs.
