February 10, 2023 at 9:00 am #1205299367Holy hell. This season is bonkers.
“Joe Takes a Holiday”: Not the best season opening as I feel VERY annoyed that one storyline has reached its close. But I love the setup as Joe somehow found a whole NEW group of annoying people that are unsufferable. B+
“Portrait of the Artist”: My favorite episode of the bunch. A+ This could potentially be an Emmy submission for directing.
“Eat the Rich”: Another A+ one for me. This time an Emmy contender for Badgley.
“Hampsie”: My grade: B. Not a fan of this episode at all.
“The Fox and the Hound”: OMG Seems like we are back at the OG premise but a bt warped and I live for it. A+

Three episodes in, totally bonkers and loving it.

In a perfect world, I want 6 seasons with the last episode being Joe being put in jail and falling for the guard lol. That’s how I always saw this ending. And Henry finding the box as an adult/college age (w Joe still in jail) and seeing a girl and going “Hello You” in his head like Joe. Not sure why but that’s how I saw this ending. As for season 5, let him get one more season of stalking and getting caught last episode

In a perfect world, Badlglley and directing would be the episode for this submission come Emmy time
ReplyCopy URLFebruary 11, 2023 at 5:37 pm #1205300586this is probably the weakest season. Tbh the show decline in season 3 after the peak that was season 2. The writers are running out of ideas. Hopefully the next season is the final one.

I agree, they had a opportunity to reinvent the show by turning the tables and they managed to make it boring as hell.
I’m forgetting everything about it as we speak, nothing is interesting in this season.ReplyCopy URLFYC:
The HBO darlings everywhere (The Last of Us, Succession, The White Lotus, Perry Mason, Somebody Somewhere, White House Plumbers, Love & Death);
The Apple gang (Bad Sisters, Slow Horses, Shrinking, Ted Lasso, Black Bird);
Poker Face, The Great, The Bear, Evil (especially Katja Herbers) and The Good Fight.Please! These gays, they're trying to murder me!

Penn performance is the only reason I’m still watching it lol

ReplyCopy URLMarch 10, 2023 at 5:26 pm #1205342210This second half. PERFECTION. A+ all around for me. In a Perfect world, Badgley would be in the Emmy conversation
ReplyCopy URLMarch 17, 2023 at 12:30 am #1205355097Babe, simply no. This season was a mess. Simply absurd. They’re really dragging it, and, honestly, should end it. Poor Nadia.

When he popped out when she was by the car, I was like “Oh ok so he is going to kill her.” Thank god he did not

Ideally, and I put a lot of thought into this, Jenna Ortega, Nadia, and Marianne (as much as I think the actress is just not great) Crey and his wife, and Theo need to be the ones to take him down as a team and maybe throw in Kate too if she gets bored with him. (This is my favorite show right now besides Survivor, Abbott Elementary, and Station 19 so what that grouping says about me I don’t know lol)
