Many times our editors will move your post to a different thread if you’re discussing the Best Actress race in a new posting, but we already have a robust thread on the same debate elsewhere. We don’t delete posts unless they’re libelous or inappro0rpriate — we just move them, as I understand it.

That’s not the case, Tom. A member was making threads to discuss previous Oscars ceremonies (something that wasn’t taking place anywhere else) and they weren’t moved to another section*, they were deleted from the forum. A lot of members took time to make their lists and their effort was erased without any explanation.

* Also, seeing that, for some reason, threads that include lists, rankings, polls, etc. are being moved to the “Games, let’s play games” section, I think it would be nice if you guys would let members know that. It would save you the trouble of moving them from Movies to Games and, more importantly, members would be aware of where to find such threads. Most of the times they end up completely ignored.

For the listings of “Latest Odds” for the acting Oscars, it would be more helpful to list the movies along with the actors’ names. This is the only place I’ve ever seen that doesn’t do that.

Why are there suddenly so many pop up ads? Every time I load a new page using an Android phone I’m getting annoying pop up videos that autoplay and take ages to get rid of.

I think there should be a Broadway-centered GoldDerby awards. They already have them for film, television, and music mirroring the Oscars, Emmys, and Grammys why not have a site-voted awards mirroring the Tonys? I will do all the work needed to help make this happen

Not sure if it’s something I’m facing only on my side but I’ve noticed when I try to like a user’s post the like fails to register and bounces back almost as if the attempt never happened. Anyone else having the same issue?
