Don’t do dislike button. That’s dangerous.
I’m thinking of so many opportunities where I could’ve used that but then so many opportunities where I would’ve been like “no, take it back.”

February 14, 2019 at 12:17 am #12027755771. Do a “GolDderby users’ Oscars ballot” to see [if we are able to vote for Oscars, what result will turn out to be?] Nominees need to be the same as Oscars. Users vote by their own preference.
2. Show the complete results (including “who’s #2,#3….” & “Who’s #6,#7…,which could nearly get into nomination) of our annual GoldDerby Film Award.
3. Add emoticons to comment sections so that there will be more ways to express our feelings for others’ comments. However, don’t create the “dislike” button cuz that will bring more negativity and war to the forum.
4.Make “GoldDerby Music Award” or whatever we can vote for the same Grammys nom lists by our own preference, not just by prediction.
5.Make “searching for past threads by key words” user-friendly. Current one is kind of messy.
Thanks, @TomO’Neil ,@ChrisBeachum ,and all the editors for ur efforts & creating this place. Love

This is reminding me of the other day when I was watching Three Billboards and decided to read the thread for it and sofan posted a spoiler and there were pages worth of destroying him/her lol.

Wow thank you so much! You’re really caring about this place. Those are all awesome advice/ideas to make GoldDerby better.

This could really work — we’ve already had the Dream Ballot in years past that was the same idea (except the results were not revealed) so I’m not sure why there isn’t one yet this year.

There was also a user who kept trying to post Star Wars: TLJ spoilers in a single line so they’d show up in the sidebar and spoil everyone -_-

February 14, 2019 at 1:09 pm #1202776286Real moderators like other forums do! No disrespect, but we REALLY need people who’re going to actually moderate and make sure the forums don’t go totally haywire (like they have been recently), instead of going MIA when an issue needs to be solved.
I’m sure there are more than enough of us who’d be willing to take on that role, if needed.

I just go back and edit the comment and delete the coded text around the emoji and that puts it back to normal size. But yeah, it is kinda creepy anyways lol.

So replying is not an issue but starting a conversation has always been an issue. Please help’
Can anyone help? I don’t know what the problem is.
ReplyCopy URLFebruary 15, 2019 at 11:19 pm #1202778022Fix the way to view past predictions. It’s a mess! I want to be able to easily see how I did, what I got right and wrong, etc. Once I go back a couple years they don’t even load. That’s half the fun of this.
