A button where you can take your likes away from a thread (not a dislike button, that would be unfair and dangerous)
Perhaps more races to be able to predict. Two years ago we were able to predict who would win the 2017 BAFTA Television Awards, maybe a return to that and being able to predict for 2019 would be great (or even some more races such as the Satellite Awards).

February 16, 2019 at 6:37 pm #1202778595When posting comments on articles, there should be a chance to remove them as well. I think there shouldn’t be names associating with likes on forums, either.

February 17, 2019 at 7:06 am #1202779051I think the UI/ UX is generally good with Goldderby!
If I had to pick one thing which I would suggest is developing perhaps an accompanying mobile app for this website, so users can track the ever-changing odds of their predictions and scores on this forum.

February 17, 2019 at 12:10 pm #1202779316GREAT feedback, y’all! Txxxxxx. We’re certainly going to take most of your recommendations. (Except the “Dislike” button, of course — yes, that was hellzapoppin back when we tried that the last time.) Our engineers Vikas & DJ are tackling these improvements right now.
Yes, I’m starting to toss out our stinking trash — banning some of our most awful users. Who else should I boot out next? What Username is Gucci using these days?
JaredM — I flagged your last user account as spam. That’s why you have trouble logging in. I didn’t go as far as to ban you totally, but will do so pronto if again I catch you flaming other Derbyites with the “c” and “f” and other inappropriate words.
In reference to a Gold Derby App. Yes, it’s in the works. AND IT’S UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING. You’ll all dance a derby jig when you get your grimy thumbs on it. A few more months away. Worth the wait!

ReplyCopy URLFebruary 17, 2019 at 12:52 pm #1202779367Hey Tom, if you’re listening, my friend siddhantchaudhary25 told me this: I am not able to send messages on goldderby other than you because u started conversation. So replying is not an issue but starting a conversation has always been an issue. Please help. Do you have any idea what the problem is, Tom?
ReplyCopy URLFebruary 17, 2019 at 3:24 pm #1202779524This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.February 17, 2019 at 9:13 pm #1202779935Most this a preference, but it’s to have the Grammy nominees to start around end of March or Aprilish rather than June and Julyish. Mostly because it’s been halfway through eligibility period and this is the time where Grammy nominees are releasing music. This can also help people who just want to track odds and probably don’t want to use the forum. Thanks nonetheless!
ReplyCopy URLFebruary 18, 2019 at 10:36 am #1202780517When I make a comment on a forum what I see is only a comment box and none of the other commenters’ comments. I have to go straight to the first page in order to see everyone’s comments.

ReplyCopy URLFebruary 18, 2019 at 1:45 pm #1202780733After posting, instead of going back to the thread, I’m getting a blank posting box instead. I have to then go back to the forum link to get back to the thread topic. It’s very cumbersome.
ReplyCopy URLFebruary 18, 2019 at 8:53 pm #1202781051Hi Tom.
I am new here and I really enjoy getting updated with fresh awards season news. However, I seem to find the website cluttered. Hope you can make a more user-friendly how-to navigation and more organized pages. Please create a page for your Gold Derby Awards archive and place it where it can easily be seen, rather than looking for it somewhere on the right section.
Hope this will be heard as I look forward to next year’s awards season (this year is almost over.)
Thanks,
Myke
