Today we re-introduced a functionality in our Prediction Center that USED to exist back in the old days and now it’s made a triumphant return. When you make predictions, everything shows up on one page and there’s an “Edit” button in the top-right corner of category boxes so you can make your changes instantly, then return to your main page for that prediction event.

Here’s a peak at what you see on my own page with Emmy picks:

    lkj

If you haven’t predicted a few categories yet in an event, the new categories appear on top, your existing picks down below. Your main page looks like this:

We’re aware of the missing photos — those will re-appear soon. The important thing for now is that we have the new functionality in place.

RILEY: So glad to see that you share my enthusiasm for this approach. I’ve missed it through the years, but, alas, it’s finally back. Hurrah.

EDEN: We’re working on fixing that link to “View Predictions” — Over the next week we’ll be re-organizing the users’ areas that feature current predictions/ old predictions and scores.  Including profile pages. Also leagues — we’re going to retool those so they’re more accessible, easy to find and use (and to see scores). Stay tuned. This overhaul we’re doing now is mammoth, but necessary and, of course, crazy delays and bugs occur. Keep pointing them out, please, so we can correct those soonest. Meantime, many thanks for your patience. Well, except for AnneBoleyn — sorry that you’re disappointed. Come back in a week or two and I think you’ll agree that all of the changes make the site more accessible and user-friendly. Feedback from all of you is key to us getting this right, so keep piping in, pls!

A link to return to the main page is missing at this time.

You should have a feature on peoples profile that highlights when and what they made the top 24/25 for since u already have a tab on the prediction for top 24/ all stars

We should be able to see likes in closed threads.

Sometimes “Newest Comment” redirects to a random topic.

The problem with ignoring people right now is that it messes up linking and navigation. This is the thirty-sixth post in this thread. So if I ignored someone with six or more posts in this thread, then this post would appear on the second page for me, but the third page by default for everyone else. So then if I click “newest comment”, it takes me to a blank third page. I think that ignores should be “softer”. Say that I ignored Eden above. Instead of seeing my last post above and then this post immediately below it, there should be a line (with a link at the end) that says something like: “Post by Eden ignored. Show post?”

    Poor Eden.
