Who’s performing at ACM Awards 2021? Full list of ACM performers

The Academy of Country Music Awards will be held on Sunday night, April 18, at a trio of venues in Nashville, Tennessee: the Grand Ole Opry House, Ryman Auditorium, and the Bluebird Café. It will be hosted by 2019 Entertainer of the Year winner Keith Urban and ACM nominee Mickey Guyton, the latter of whom is the first Black woman ever to host the ceremony. But who will perform at this event honoring the best achievements in country music? Scroll down for the full ACM performances list.

These ACMs take place only a few months after the 2020 awards. Last year’s ceremony had originally been scheduled for the spring, but the COVID-19 pandemic led them to be postponed until September, when they were handed out at the same three Nashville venues. That night ended in an unprecedented tie for Entertainer of the Year between Carrie Underwood and Thomas Rhett.

Underwood was snubbed from the category this time around, but Rhett is back in the Entertainer of the Year lineup, which is entirely male — alas, not unusual for these awards. He’s up against another past winner, Luke Bryan, as well as Luke Combs, Eric Church and Chris Stapleton. All five of them are scheduled to take the stage, as will Maren Morris, one of the most nominated artists of the year.

Two of this years performers are already confirmed winners: Jimmie Allen was announced as New Male Artist of the Year and Gabby Barrett was named New Female Artist of the Year in advance of the ceremony, so they’ll have the benefit of putting on a show with their trophies already in the bag. Who are you most excited to see on April 18?
