From the “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” finalists, one will be chosen as the champ. The pool of talent started off with 60 contenders drawn from “Got Talent” shows worldwide. Over the course of six episodes, which began airing January 2, 10 acts per week performed for “AGT” judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum.
In each of the first four weeks, two acts moved on in the competition: one who got a Golden Buzzer from one of the judges or host Terry Crews and the other who got the most votes from the “AGT” superfans. For the other two weeks, it was just an act chosen by the superfans. The final act is the Wild Card chosen by the judges.
