‘America’s Got Talent’: 5 times deadly games went wrong

For the most part, by the time talent acts get to the audition stage of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” they’re already considered masters of their craft. And most of those masters perform comfortably within the boundaries of rational safety — you know, like magicians doing card tricks, trainers guiding dogs through hoops, comedians telling jokes and singers showing off their pipes. Some of those “safe” acts are even bonafide champions now!

But over the show’s 14 seasons, there has also been a countless number of danger acts that owned the stage, including acrobats on Russian bars, dance troupes performing gravity-defying tricks through the air and human cannonballs. With those in mind, we’ve assembled a gallery of five of the show’s most daring acts that took a turn for the worst and became a group of rare accidents that happened live on stage. Check out the gallery and then sound off about these and other “AGT’ danger acts in the comments.
