The 94th Academy Awards were held on March 27, 2022. For the first time, the Oscars revealed the winners of certain categories before the start of the telecast. That reduced the running time of this ceremony, which has stretched to over four hours in the past. Scroll through for the complete 2022 Oscars winner list plus photos of all the nominees.
Eght of the 10 Best Picture nominees lead all films in the running this year. Topping the nominations chart with 12 bids is “The Power of the Dog” followed by “Dune” with 10. “Belfast” and “West Side Story” are up for a lucky seven each while “King Richard” reaped an even half dozen nominations. “Don’t Look Up,” “Drive My Car” and “Nightmare Alley” contend in four categories. The other two Best Picture contenders, “CODA” and “Licorice Pizza,” are three-time nominees.
