After almost two years off the air due to the COVID-19 pandemic, “Project Runway” returned in the fall of 2021 for its long-awaited 19th season on Bravo. So who stayed and who was eliminated each week? Scroll down for the complete list of eliminated designers, updating every week as contestants are sent home from the competition.
The season started with 16 designers representing a wide range of experiences, aesthetics, ages, and cultural backgrounds: Octavio Aguilar, Darren Apolonio, Kenneth Barlis, Caycee Black, Bones Jones, Coral Castillo, Meg Ferguson, Prajje Oscar Jean-Baptiste, Kristina Kharlashkina, Katie Kortman, Shantall Lacayo, Chasity Sereal, Sabrina Spanta, Aaron Michael Steach, Zayden Skipper, and Anna Zhou.
Each week the designers were judged by longtime “Project Runway” judge and Elle editor-in-chief Nina Garcia, fashion designer Brandon Maxwell, and former Teen Vogue editor-in-chief Elaine Welteroth. As in the show’s last two seasons, the designers are mentored by season four “Runway” champion Christian Siriano, who knows a thing or two about the competition.
The one designer who survives the entire season and wins the competition receives a $250,000 grand prize, a feature in Elle Magazine, and a mentorship with the Council of Fashion Designers of America. But as always, it’s a long road to the finale. See the results of the show below.
