Blake Shelton returns to “The Voice” for the 13th season with the incredible accomplishment of being the coach for five champions over the course of the series, including Season 11 winner Sundance Head. Shelton’s other winners are Craig Wayne Boyd, Danielle Bradbery, Cassadee Pope and Jermaine Paul. Click through our photo gallery above that highlights all of Shelton’s Season 13 team members.

From: Mason, Michigan

Current City: Chicago, Illinois

Raised in the farm town of Mason, Michigan, Rebecca grew up on country music. She started singing at age five and never stopped. As soon as she could, Rebecca left for the big city. At age 18, she moved to Chicago to pursue a career in music. She also transitioned from being a country singer to a pop/R&B singer. Rebecca started gigging around town, but it wasn’t enough to pay the bills. Currently, Rebecca works as a nanny to help support herself while pursuing her career in music. Her determination has landed her studio time and background vocalist gigs, but she is hoping The Voice will get her to the next level.

From: Grandview, Iowa

Current City: Nashville, Tennessee

Adam, a session singer in Nashville, grew up singing at churches with his mom and dad before releasing a few Christian albums as a young adult. Things were starting to look good until 2011 when his career went on the fritz as he and his first wife divorced. Adam put music on hold until 2013 when he met his current wife, Courtney. She brought light into Adam’s life and he started writing songs again. A year ago, Adam and Courtney welcomed a baby girl into their family. Now, more than ever, Adam wants to make a successful career singing his music.

From: Parker, Colorado

Current City: Parker, Colorado/Murfeesboro, Tennessee

Being from Colorado, Kristi describes herself as a “Rocky Mountain Hippie Chick.” Kristi became interested in music after hearing Loretta Lynn’s version of “These Boots Are Made for Walking,” which inspired her to perform the song at her third grade talent show, which she won. Currently, Kristi is pursuing a music business degree at Middle Tennessee State University. The Voice is a great opportunity to help Kristi with her career, perspective and artistry.

Mitchell Lee is the kind of guy that makes you pinch yourself to verify whether you're dreaming or not. He's almost too perfect, right? But your mom loves him and all your friends are jealous he's singing to you instead of them. He also seems like he'd cry on your shoulder and sometimes that's hot, too!

From: Dublin, California

Current City: Dublin, California

Noah spends most of his time writing and recording music in a studio he built himself in his family’s backyard shed. He got his start in music in the most heartbreaking way – when Noah was seven years old, his 19-year-old sister, Stevie, lost her fight with brain cancer. His sister was his biggest inspiration.  Despite his sadness, he decided to sing at her funeral. His performance shocked everyone, including his parents, who had no idea he had a voice. Noah recently produced and released an EP.

From: Rogersville, Alabama

Current City: Dickson, Tennessee

Red is as country as it gets, with a love of skeet shooting, fishing and hunting. His dad is a preacher, so growing up he was exposed to a lot of bluegrass and gospel. At 22, Red decided to move to Nashville to further his music career and ended up becoming a demo singer. He was fortunate to make a living singing songs for songwriters for about 15 years, but being a musician is difficult and he’s struggled to break through as a solo artist. Recently, Red took a step back from music in order to support his family. He started his own construction company called Mr. Fix All, and though he enjoys it, The Voice has given him one last shot to see if he can make music his full-time job.

Current City: Las Vegas, Nevada

Keisha was born in Los Angeles and grew up singing at church. Gospel music is definitely her foundation, but after high school she moved to Houston where she discovered country music. Though she fell in love with country, it took her a long time to pursue it because she was often told she would be better suited for pop or R&B. Keisha spent seven years working as a professional background singer, and for the last five years her boss has been Nicki Minaj. Touring with Nicki was absolutely amazing, but after having her daughter Amari two years ago, Keisha underwent a big lifestyle change. Throughout her life she has always struggled with her weight and during her pregnancy she weighed 356 pounds and was diagnosed with diabetes. It was a huge wake-up call for her and Keisha feels having her daughter helped save her life. She has since lost the weight and feels like now is the time to finally go after her true dream of becoming a country artist.

From: San Jose, California

Current City: San Jose, California

Ryan picked up a guitar when he was nine years old and has loved music ever since. As a kid, he played in a jazz band, and in high school became the lead guitar player for a local rock band. Ryan’s voice has always been deep for his age, so he was always shy about singing. After posting covers on YouTube, Ryan received a lot of positive feedback and discovered his love of singing. Being from San Jose, country music isn’t very popular, so finding gigs was tough. In order to make money, Ryan enrolled in an EMT program. After completing the program at 23, he started experiencing heart palpitations. He found out he has adrenaline-induced heart arrhythmia. Although it’s not life-threatening, being an EMT is very stressful, so Ryan was forced to choose another path. Currently, he is a CrossFit instructor to make ends meet. The Voice is his opportunity to break out into the country music scene and pursue music full time.

From: Columbia, Tennessee

Current City: Nashville, Tennessee

When Natalie was four, her grandma enrolled her in violin lessons and at age 10, she got a gig in the Opryland Kids Club. Throughout her childhood, Natalie performed everywhere from “The Oprah Winfrey Show” to the Grand Ole Opry and eventually used her earnings to go to Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee, Natalie formed the band Natalie Stovall and Green Line South. It was her first time writing and playing original music. Every summer, the band would play shows around Tennessee. Unfortunately, after graduation in 2004, everyone left the band except for the drummer, who is now Natalie’s husband. The two formed her current band, Natalie Stovall and the Drive. On the side, Natalie plays fiddle and sings for Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots. In 2013, Natalie and her band were signed to Hitshop Records and their first single, “Baby Come On With It,” broke the Top 40 country charts. Unfortunately, two weeks before the release of their second single, the investors backed out and the company went bankrupt. Despite setbacks, The Voice is Natalie’s chance to pick up her career again.

From: Honolulu, Hawaii

Current City: Minneapolis, Minnesota

Esera was raised in Hawaii but currently lives in Minneapolis. In 1991, he was drafted into the NFL where he played defensive tackle for the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville Jaguars, Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons. In 1998, Esera played in the NFC Championship game for the Falcons and then the Super Bowl XXXIII against the Denver Broncos. During his time in the NFL, he was known as “Mr. Aloha” because he sang in the locker rooms and once sang the national anthem before a game. Esera is gay and, at 32 years old, left the NFL to come out to his family. Now, being able to pursue a singing career at 48, he has the opportunity to finally be true to himself.

From: Warren, Ohio

Current City: Nashville, Tennessee

Dennis grew up in a working class family in a small town in Ohio, where his father worked as a steelworker for almost 40 years. Dennis knew he always wanted more and his family was supportive of him pursuing whatever he desired. With music being his passion, Dennis got his first guitar at seven years old and a few years later started his first blues band. In 2012, after graduating from Berklee College of Music, Dennis moved to Nashville to pursue his music career and quickly began making a name for himself as a touring guitar player. Recently, Dennis became the lead guitar player and back-up vocalist for Season 10 runner-up Adam Wakefield. Even though he loves being a guitar player, Dennis is ready to branch out as a vocalist and start his solo career. The Voice is his first step toward center stage and away from the background.

From: Sikeston, Missouri

Current City: Nashville, Tennessee

At 11 years old, Anna started singing in school talent shows and doing Live Wires community theater, which helped break her out of her shell. In high school, she was in a band called Dirt Road and would play little country rock fests. After high school, Anna moved to Nashville to study music business at Belmont University. During her junior year, she got the chance to open for Kenny Rogers on his Children’s Center Telethon, which focused on improving the lives of children with special needs. Since then, Anna has continued to donate her time to Children’s Center, playing music for the children in attendance. She graduated last May.
