Why do these always read like they were written by the same person
ReplyMay 8, 2023 at 3:02 pm #1205424225Get him to the Greek. This felt very dated in that what may have been considered daring, original or extreme back then felt cliche and boring. Wouldn’t have finished it if I hadn’t rented it. 5/10

April 18, 2023 at 1:45 pm #1205394949Just finished season 1 of Succession 🤣 very strong season and I think my favorites were episode 5 (“I Went to Market”) and episode 9 (“Pre-nuptial”). The first two episodes and the season finale were a bit of a letdown.

This time I was really struck by the trio of performances, just mesmerising especially Eisenberg (for his mannerisms) and Garfield (for such precise emotions he evokes in his expressions)

ReplyApril 10, 2023 at 1:40 am #1205384132This goes dramatically downhill after episode 4. Wish they’d kept the plot semi-realistic.
ReplyApril 8, 2023 at 6:51 am #1205382497Triangle of Sadness. Act I was 10/10, Act II was 6/10 and Act III was 7/10. Top notch performances throughout (except Woody Harrelson felt too familiar and out of place) and the MVP was Harris Dickinson (Carl).
