Haven’t watched I May Destroy You and P-Valley yet. But I love all the other shows in the Indiewire list. I’m glad that The Baby-sitters Club made the cut. And hell yes, Better Things is definitely the best show of 2020 by a mile.October 21, 2020 at 11:03 am #1203793941
I’m so happy that there are no Simpsons or South Park!October 20, 2020 at 4:33 am #1203790621

IMO we shouldn’t have too many categories as the Grammys.
1. Best Album
2. Best Record
3. Best Song
4. Best New Artist
5. Best Music Video or Film
6. Best Producer
Album and Record should only allow studio recordings. Also, if we want to have some diversity, we can split some categories in english language x not english language or independent x non-independent.October 8, 2020 at 6:16 am #1203766538
“On Becoming a God in Central Florida” has been canceled because of the pandemic: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/showtimes-on-becoming-a-god-in-central-florida-latest-pandemic-driven-renewal-reversal
Showtime canceled Kidding and Florida in the same year… I can’t.September 28, 2020 at 10:07 am #1203739198
There is only a few days of shooting left on Mare of Easttown. If they manage to resume filming it can definitely come out on time (after all what does HBO have to air in the spring).
I think they’ll treat it as the Big Little Lies to The Undoing’s The Night Of.
Don’t forget that there’s a possibility that they’ve already started post-production for the episodes that were shot.September 23, 2020 at 8:51 am #1203729828
1. Amy Adams, “The Master”

– Don Cheadle, Steve Carell and Sandra Oh have, respectively, 10, 11 and 12 nominations to date without ever winning (every Don Cheadle nomination was for acting; Carell had nominations for producing The Office; and Oh had nominations for producing Killing Eve and hosting the Golden Globes);
Well, the curse continues.September 21, 2020 at 8:30 am #1203725253
Multiple winning performances that shall still be eligible in the future (at some point):
Julia defeated Dern, Streep and Carter. She’ll probably win for the second part of the last season of Ozark. The question is: will she win for the first part?September 21, 2020 at 5:56 am #1203724946
Obviously you can make many permutations of Schitt’s Creek being the first comedy to go 7/7. (After 0, 0, 0, 0 nominations, then 0 wins; pretty astounding for a turnaround).
But I also find it notable that the last comedy to win all 7 during its entire run at all was Cheers, which did it 30 years ago when Danson finally got 1. So no comedies since then have been deemed the best at some point in their run for every category.
+ Schitt’s Creek is the first show to make a clean sweep in the main ceremony (series, lead actor, lead actress, supporting actor, supporting actress, directing, writing) since Angels in America.September 21, 2020 at 5:51 am #1203724935

Wolfali and Luca should win best Drama Series chile
The question here which one will win best actor. Vote splitting, maybe?
Not happening unless people catch up on it like Euphoria.
I agree, I think the show is too “indie” for the Emmys.
