      I don't see why Chicago would have lost. Was an acting win so necessary for a movie to win Best Picture back then? And Renee beat Catherine at the Globes, so I don't see why she'd have won over her. Renee had the more material, the bigger performance

      Birdman is the only movie in the last few decades to win the Oscar for Best Picture without an Editing Oscar nomination. However, people excused Birdman by saying it's shot to look like a "one take" movie even though it had several cuts along the way
