Just wondering: every year we hear about the “out of town voters” and how they favor shows that will do well on tour – I would think, perhaps I am overthinking this, but wouldn’t they not want such a rarefied musical that would likely not appeal so much to audiences outside of New York win rather than A Strange Loop? Everybody seems to think ASL will definitely win but this is my one reservation (this has nothing to do with the quality of the musical, just on it’s chances with a large enough percentage of the voters?). IDK, just wondering aloud about it? Would love to hear Sam Eckmann’s opinion about this…
Also: with Caroline, or Change only nominated for two Tonys is Sharon D Clarke really the slam dunk to win the Tony?
I watched that superb documentary about the new version of Company and WOW! That was a great documentary! (: So incredibly interesting! (:

ReplyMay 27, 2022 at 2:31 pm #1204965624Today’s episode was excellent!
I really like Rory and Trina! Should they be called Rorna or Trinry? (; They objectified Rory’s body today and I liked it! (; I hope he’s a good guy but I have a feeling he has secrets…
I wonder if Terry and Chet will opt for a long-distance relationship? Surprised by Amy’s confession! I would rather watch Terry and Chet’s burgeoning relationship than many of the other stories on the show right now!
Geez, everybody at Nina’s visitation hearing has done really terrible things! (; It’s been well done and Scotty going after Michael was sort of fun… I really hope Nina gets to visit Wiley!
I love that Ava is sticking up for herself! She’s gotten her mojo back! Nikolas can be too shallow for her imo. I have a feeling Esme and Nikolas are going to have sex…
The coming up next week segment at the end was very intriguing! Looking forward to next week’s episodes! (:
ReplyMay 27, 2022 at 11:31 am #1204965514I (somewhat) watched the first 40 minutes of today’s episode but was so bored I switched to B&B for it’s last 20 minutes. Perhaps I am the only one who feels this way, but Days has gone of the rails with incredibly poor storytelling (imo)….
ReplyMay 27, 2022 at 4:36 am #1204965132Now that I have seen yesterday’s episode it was actually very good! Nina’s visitation hearing is compelling and it’s nice to have Charles Shaunnessy back on the show too (and Nancy is back now too – a few days ago).
They really ought to have put the hearing and Trina’s trial on during May sweeps and not at the very end of the month.
I am really liking Rory. At first I thought he was a lackey for one of the villains because he was listening outside the interrogation room door but now I am hoping that’s not the case. I like him with Trina too. He seems to be an “expendable” character though, unfortunately…
Even when the stories aren’t great the cast always delivers!
ReplyMay 26, 2022 at 1:09 pm #1204964601I agree – GH has not been at it’s best lately. Here’s hoping the producers and writers are working to remedy it in the near future!
Missed most of today’s episode due to more breaking news….
ReplyMay 26, 2022 at 7:04 am #1204964248It is strange that we still don’t have any information on James Patrick Stuart’s reel. I hope we find out soon!
We have at least some information on almost everybody at this point – I don’t think we know what Robert Gossett submitted?
My problem with reels is that a performer can craft an excellent reel but have not really contributed all that much to their show – it happens all the time. Somebody can simply be better at submitting reels but not even come close to being the best from their show. That has definitely happened this year.

Are they pairing Alexis with Gregory?
Nina’s visitation hearing is getting intense. It would be so great if Carly revealed that Nina is Willow’s bio-mom during this hearing but realistically this will get dragged out for some time to come…
ReplyMay 24, 2022 at 11:38 am #1204962387Naomi Matusudi for her work on May 23 & 24, 2022 – Li has Finn who is still alive. On the 24th she has flashbacks to what happened when the ambulances took Finn to her hospital (Steffy was taken to a different hospital for one reason for another…). NM gives really strong performances!
ReplyMay 24, 2022 at 8:12 am #1204962120I thought he would either be alive or an identical twin – it’s always suspicious when there is no announcement anywhere of a performer leaving their show, such as Wes Ramsey not really being gone from GH last year when he was “killed” by Finn (GH’s Finn!)…
But why wouldn’t Li let the Forresters know? It is very cruel of her! Does Jack now? I doubt it….
ReplyMay 24, 2022 at 7:27 am #1204962077I am citing Naomi Matsudi as Dr. Li Finnegan on The Bold and the Beautiful for her performance in the episode where it was revealed that Finn is alive and in her care! Along with the fierce performance a few weeks ago where she told Sheila “NO!” to her request that she see Finn’s dead body NM is delivering really powerful performances! (:
ReplyMay 23, 2022 at 7:14 pm #1204961711I just read that the Guest Performer winner will be announced on the June 18 online broadcast, six days before the CBS awards show in which all of the other 8 major daytime soaps categories will be announced (awarded)….
ReplyMay 23, 2022 at 4:46 pm #1204961644I am glad that Nina’s visitation hearing has finally started. I am worried that buttinsky Dante has poisoned things and that Sonny, being an idiot anyways, will jeopardize Nina’s chances as a result of Dante’s awful advice! Grrr!!!!
I would love it if Carly would just tell the truth about Nina and Willow – how refreshing that would be – but it’s a soap and they drag everything out forever so… NO to a DNA lab switch though! If Carly were to tell on the stand that would be amazing!
Ummm, Carly, Sonny and Harmony have been grandparents to Wiley and have made even bigger mistakes than Nina! Harmony and Sonny are murderers! Geesh! Nina better win her visitation rights!
Way to go Brad, he’s got the Jax lines in today’s episode! (; (I miss Jax pointing out Carly’s flawed thinking!)
ReplyMay 23, 2022 at 4:56 am #1204960919From each show who do you think is the MOST LIKELY of that show’s nominees to win?
B&B: John McCook, Aaron D Spears, Kimberlin Brown, Ted King or Naomi Matsudi (My pick: John McCook)
Days: Marci Miller, Arianne Zucker, Eric Martsolf, James Reynolds, Stacey Haiduk, Lindsay Arnold and Michael Lowery (My pick: I don’t think any of them will win but for most likely I will go with Ari Zucker)
GH: Cynthia Watros, Laura Wright, Nancy Lee Grahn, Kelly Thiebaud, Jeff Kober, James Patrick Stuart, Nicholas Chavez, William Lipton, Sydney Mikayla and Robert Gossett (My pick: Nancy Lee Grahn)
Y&R: Mishael Morgan, Peter Bergman, Jason Thompson, Melissa Ordway, Bryton James, Jordi Vilasuso, Alyvia Alyn Lind and Ptosha Storey (My pick: Alyvia Alyn Lind)
ReplyMay 23, 2022 at 4:49 am #1204960911Nancy Lee Grahn talks about her Emmy nomination and her submission to Michael Fairman. I am almost completely convinced she will win with this submission:
