Really hoping for Negga. Passing performed well with BAFTA, fingers crossed it helps give them momentum. Balfe was the standout from Belfast, but Negga is much more deserving in my opinion.

I just rewatched Passing last night and I’m still so surprised Negga isn’t sweeping. I think her biggest hurdle could be the nomination, but could maybe see her surprising. Her performance seems to have a lot of passion.

I finally got around to watching Belfast, to be honest it wasn’t one I was particularly excited to watch. I enjoyed it enough, but really don’t think Hinds or especially Dornan are deserving of a nomination. Hinds was really great but still somewhat forgettable due to such limited screentime.
