I wouldn’t count it out. If it’s just as acclaimed and has an even bigger box office outing, I don’t see why it can’t get a similar push. Couple that with it releasing during awards season, it has a chance. I still don’t think it gets in Picture for now but I can definitely see similar tech noms to 2019.

This cycle is already stacked. If there’s a comic book film that gets into Picture, it’ll likely be the Black Panther sequel. The Batman doesn’t have a festival run, good not great reviews, and is releasing in March. Don’t get fooled.

Bruno & Paak are Sweeping. Two Grammy favorites who will garner votes from multiple generes. Let’s not pretend anyone else stands a chance.

On paper, Olivia will find it easy to get in all 4 GF categories. But I’d be dumb to predict a win against Bruno/Paak or Billie who have cross-genre appeal with Pop/Jazz/Rap voters and Rock/Alternative voters respectively.
