I hate that the finale was focused on the adults, their arcs were easily the worst aspect this season and the way it wrapped it up was so disappointing. Also the scene between Misty and Natalie (which I guess was supposed to be biggest scene of the episode) was so badly edited 💀. Anyway this season was very weak but I loved Sophie Nélisse, Lauren Ambrose and the music supervision

ReplyApril 13, 2023 at 9:40 pm #1205389781This was very entertaining, didn’t even see the time passing. Writing is the weakest aspect, uninspired and predictable, but it’s so enjoyable that I don’t really care. Kathryn Hahn is such an amazing actress, I loved every second that she was on screen and Sarah Pidgeon is a revelation, hope to see her again in other projects

I love everyone that voted for them and I really wanna know who are these (few) people with genuine taste
April 12, 2023 at 12:00 pm #1205387623With the way Ted Lasso season 3 is currently going and Beef moving to limited I’m really curious to see what their eight outstanding achievement in comedy nominees will end up being this year.
I’m most curious about Party Down and The Other Two. The former was nominated for the previous season (back in 2010) and this season was the most acclaimed yet. The Other Two is also a previous nominee but in New Program and those tend to get another noms later in their run

March 23, 2023 at 4:56 pm #1205361772I’m curious to see if Sharon Horgan can get in here and if she does, I wouldn’t be surprised if she can pull an upset. She’s the face, creator, producer and writer of Bad Sisters and they awarded a lot of those on the comedy side these last years (Tina Fey, Louis CK🤮, Amy Schumer, Rachel Bloom, Donald Glover, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Quinta Brunson) and of course Michaela Coel on the drama side. Maybe that puts her ahead of everyone else here

These two are so great and under seen. I recomend everyone to give both a chance
ReplyMarch 22, 2023 at 4:56 am #1205359519Do we know if Rye Lane is submitting to the Emmys or is it going for the Oscars? Just realized it’s premiering next Friday on Hulu (and here in Brazil on Star+). It got great reviews at Sundance so could be a contender
March 17, 2023 at 9:01 pm #1205356028The finale was decent, didn’t hate but didn’t love either. It felt rushed and if there was really a need to leave things open, then I guess episode 9 would be a better series finale imo. Anyway, great season overall with fantastic direction and even better performances by Nell Tiger Free and Lauren Ambrose (I still don’t know if I consider Lauren lead or supporting this season)
