I’d say Lisa Kudrow’s Phoebe Buffay is more iconic than Jennifer Aniston’s Rachel Green.September 29, 2020 at 2:53 pm #1203742934

Yeah, Glynn Turman was the MVP of the second episode for me.September 27, 2020 at 7:35 pm #1203738451
The premiere was slow, but still good. Chris Rock was solid, Jessie Buckley was nice as well, Jason Schwartzman was… okay, I guess. However, the real MVP of this episode was certanly Emyri Crutchfield. Hoping that she doesn’t turn into the Mary Elizabeth Winstead of the season.
Hawley’s direction and the cinematography were good as usual/expected. He will probably submit this episode a la season 3. Not MC yellow material (yet, maybe).
The writing wasn’t sharp as before, I gotta say.
The score was sort of a hit and miss. Also not as good as before.September 25, 2020 at 3:33 pm #1203735333
Also, I did not say “there’s no way it’s gonna happen”, I said “ain’t gonna happen”. They way you said was like I thought it was 100% not happening, which ain’t true.September 25, 2020 at 3:22 pm #1203735317
Curb, unlike Good Place, has a good track record in both SAG and WGA (especially WGA). Curb was never snubbed after they start getting nominations at WGA, Good Place, on the other hand, was snubbed last year, AFTER their first emmy writing nod, and in favor of shows like PENIS, by the way.September 25, 2020 at 2:41 pm #1203735232
The Good Place ain’t gonna happen. The only times a final part of a final season was nominated this category were: 3x winner Sex and the City (2005) and 12x winner 30 Rock (2014).September 25, 2020 at 2:02 pm #1203735148
I wouldn’t predict PENIS in a normal year, but this year is so empty.September 25, 2020 at 12:29 pm #1203734902
I think PENIS will get nominated here. A lot of buzz and acclaim towards this new season.September 24, 2020 at 10:11 am #1203731922
The pilot aired on Fox Sept 21 and the three first episodes are already available on Hulu.September 24, 2020 at 8:51 am #1203731777
This show is actually receiving acclaim.September 24, 2020 at 8:21 am #1203731690
The way Netflix and Apple got the same number of Primetime Emmys this year… One just launched last year and the other has tens of thousands of hours of programming over a decade…
Netflix won 21 Primetime Emmys, Apple won 1. But I think u r talking about the main cerimony, where Netflix actually won 2 (directing and actress in a supporting role).September 23, 2020 at 7:50 am #1203729670
Dan Levy, Annie Murphy and the writing were the best too. In my opinion.
I don’t mind the directing win. The episode they submitted was the best directing achievement of the whole series.
