Very good 1st Episode: 9/10
It was better shot compared to latter seasons of the show. Marcos Siega has done a very good job with the directing
I prefer the snow of Iron Lake compared to Miami
The actor they hired to play Matt Caldwell is very good. He plays a douchebag very well
The end credits is better than the latter seasons
The writing was pretty good and tight for the most part
It would be interesting to see how the writers develop Dexter and Harrison’s relationship moving forward
Angela Bishop is a smarter version of Debra
The acting of Michael C Hall was very good. It does not look like he has lost a step
Ghost Debra > Ghost Harry (maybe the writing for Carpenter is better than what it was for James Remar)
The only minor gripe was that Dexter and Angela getting intimate in the car. It felt like a retread of past seasons
If the writers wanted Dexter and Angela to get intimate. They should have gone the whole way not taken half measures
