Been a movie fan my entire life. Got interested in showbiz awards while in high school and have been following them with zeal. On a personal mission to watch every single Oscar-winning feature film in my lifetime, regardless of what categories it won.

Good. Go limited. If it comes back years from now and is telling the same story, it’ll go drama. A new story would only qualify for an anthology and limited if the characters were entirely different, and that’s not what this is. At least it’s staying true to the spirit of the category. I hope they wait a good distance outside of Emmy nods to…[Read more]
Oh yes very likely. But I hardly think he won’t be nominated for homophobic reasonings. I think he won’t be nominated because they already gave him his due back when “Stay with Me” was released.
Cher did have a nice slow build to the Oscar with good performances establishing her as an actress slowly spread out over a few years. Moonstruck is a great film and I’m glad she has an Oscar for it. It’s just too bad Close lost. If she only had won the next year for Dangerous Liasons it would be perfect. Foster would win for The Silence of the…[Read more]

I, too, at this point see both The Undoing & Little Fires Everywhere not making the cut in limited series. I think both will be major acting players, but there’s simply too much competition. My head is telling me Unbelievable could be vulnerable, but after its solid precursor run, it should be safe. Unlike all these shows that are sqaushed…[Read more]
My favorite thread was the “Gsteway” scenes lmao. Annie Murphy’s comic timing is so superb it’s ridiculous. I want her nodded in supporting actress so badly! I’m really hoping that last yearns Emmy breakthrough signals more acting nods this time around beyond Levy and O’Hara. Daniel Levy has to get in for something, acting or writing, whatever.…[Read more]
Gold Derby was not at goldderby.com in the years before 2010 and there was no predictions centre. Tom would sometimes attach odds to contenders for the Los Angeles Times, but they were not based on aggregate predictions of users.
So far this season is awesome. Definitely makes up for the last two awful seasons. The changes they made to EOE have been great. I thought it was so dumb of them not to vote out Parvati. She and Rob are the biggest threats in the game, or at least on the tribe. The only person missing from the season who would have made it epic is Russell Hantz.…[Read more]
Lamesauce. I needs eliminations! Nancy easily won this challenge with the best and classiest design of the field, so good going for her. It would make so many people seetheeee to have her in the final four, so I’m somewhat rooting for her now.
