On Taylor being the queen of sales, you’ll be surprised to learn that outside debuts, her album sales are not exactly outliers. Lets compare her numbers to the quiet Bruno Mars’ for instance.

None of her albums have globally sold as much Doowops & Hooligans’ 15.5m and none has streamed as much either, even with her many track lists, it had 63k debut and peaked at No 3. None of her albums since 1989 have even sold as much as 24K Magic’s 5m pure, none of her tours have grossed as much. The album peaked at No 2 and the guy don’t even pull stunts or encourage fanatic consumption. Would you say the same about Adele?

Look beyond convenient metrics before bragging lol. Stop hiding behind Harry & Beyoncé, you’re not their fan.
