I loved every second of this premiere. That gun falling apart towards the end was so funny lmao. Happy it’s finally back!

I’m looking forward to The killer. Very very excited for it.

Told ya’. That sound stat is sacred.
March 27, 2022 at 8:51 am #1204878938Sticking with CODA because of its momentum in the last week of voting but my gut is screaming at me: ‘are you crazy?!’
March 24, 2022 at 10:12 am #1204873674I LOVE seeing Nightmare Alley in the ballots, the critics were too harsh on it, and it should’ve had a bigger nomination haul (Del Toro, Blanchett and especially Cooper were robbed).
I watched it a few days ago and I loved it. Much better than most of the other movies nominated for BP.
March 24, 2022 at 10:10 am #1204873664I’m switching to Penelope as well. I don’t even care if I’m wrong, at least I’m taking some risks. Her winning would make this season less shitty that’s for sure.

Don’t Look UpMarch 21, 2022 at 12:09 pm #1204864859While it feels a bit odd to predict that, considering that scenario hasn’t happened since The Graduate in 1967, it also feels a bit odd that I’m predicting CODA to win Best Picture with only 3 nominations which is a scenario that hasn’t happened since the 1930’s.
I’m predicting CODA too but it makes little sense and not feeling it. I’ll probably switch back to TPOTD in the last day. I think it might end up with BP+BD like at BAFTA.
ReplyMarch 21, 2022 at 12:03 pm #1204864841Shaun White and DJ Khalid? What is up with the presenters this year? Why are people not connected to the film industry getting invited as presenters while others who are-like Rachel Zegler-aren’t getting invites? The Academy is doing a great job of making me lose interest in this year’s ceremony.
I’m going to sleep like a baby that night. Not watching this mess.

Anyway…fitting ending to this shitty season. Next.
March 17, 2022 at 12:26 pm #1204856251Still surprised at CODA winning the BAFTA. Did Campion and Gyllenhaal split votes or what happened?
