Do you bitches know than neither Rihanna nor Ariana writes their own songs…All hits from Rihanna are written by other people, same with Ariana so you can’t say Ariana is copying Rihanna when she isn’t even capable of composing 1 song on her own…Some Rihanna’s songs are also written by Sia, The Dream, Calvin Harris and many more and if Ariana’s team is copying anyone it’s them not Rihanna who is just a performer

The biggest snub is definitely Maren Morris going 5-0. She’s the Jay Z of this year. The disappointment was clear on her face when she realized she went 5-0

I’ve felt so bad for her- she should have won something in Country for Dear Hate (which is a really good and the type of a song the voters usually go for because of its message + she collaborated on it with a 21x Grammy winner Vince Gill), The Middle was also probably 2nd in Pop Duo/Group

The only thing I wanna know from the aftermath is does the popular vote still decide the vote at all times? How did Joanne win Best Pop Solo, and somehow Shallow lost SoTY? Gaga ticked all the boxes for a GF win as she clearly overperformed in the pop categories. Winning Best Pop Solo is often an indicator of a a win in SoTY too. But this year it was different. I’m starting to think that HDD may be right. We always give them shit but what they say end up being true. The Recording Academy might’ve added a secret clause that they may review/alter GF wins when necessary, to avoid backlash. This Is America really feels more like a committee pick than a popular vote pick.

I 100% agree. Shallow was tailor-made to win Soty and Roty (worldwide hit from a blockbuster movie, a ballad with a strong chorus with country-folk elements and with a meaningful lyrics)…It had also a huge promo- private exclusive screenings for Recording Academy Members all accross the US…And she was predicted to win all categories for Shallow by major music critics and websites…It was supposed to be HER night- I don’t see her winning Aoty or Best Visual Media Song next year (she should perform ARUTW to give it exposure for next year’s Best Visual Media and save Shallow for Oscars). Her only Grammy next year for ASIB is probably gonna be Best Compilation Sountrack…Lion King could beat it tho…I thought it’s gonna be her night

Guys, 1. Gaga won’t win AoTY with ASIB, ain’t happening. 2. Kendrick will probably never win AoTY either after yesterday’s snub. He won’t be attending. The Grammy’s will probably be a shit show moving forward, who is left to attend? TIA winning won’t solve the hip-hop problem as it’s perceived as a win for a political message, not really hip-hop content.

I agree but Grammys have definitely changed in the last couple of years- if we would be like some years ago Shallow would be sweeping GF but I guess they got tired from big more traditional ballads (Need You Now, Stay With Me, Hello, Thinking Out Loud,…) and also the voting members are a little different every year so yeah…I also think that if the panel wouldn’t chose Brandi Carlile, Gaga would have a lot more votes and would win Soty and Roty since their songs are really similar and attract the same amount of voters, so yeah- Gaga was screwed – that was the best option to award her in the GF (right now she is dominating film and music scene)

Gaga winning Pop Solo was a gag lmfao which showed that there was no conclusive decision in picking the winner there. I thought that meant she was gonna sweep and we would have to go through those unbearable dramatics of her speeches but thank God, she lost the GF. That lets me know that they still don’t love her that much to reward her in the main categories even with a movie behind her. ASIB train had been overestimated since the get go. I guess I should’ve saw Ariana’s Pop Album win coming because I just knew for Reputation there was NO PASSION for that album whatsoever and Ariana was surging during voting. Other than that, pretty predictable winners. I think I hated SOTY and Best New Artist wins the most. Ugh.

Yep, Taylor was not even second in my opinion, maybe top 3 but reputation was just not happening there, I knew it on Dec.7 in a second

Ariana Grande is so unbearable. I wish Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift or P!nk had won that award instead.

P!NK was probably close…Taylor hardly underperformed with nominations so I think she didn’t have a chance this year.

I think it’s really not fair that Dua Lipa won 2 Grammys while Camila won nothing! Dua is like the less successful version of Camila, Camila was the breakout star in 2018 and she was even bigger than Taylor Swift in terms of singles and success this year,

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Gaga didn’t have such a great night everybody predicted- she has 0 GF and less than 10 wins overall so Xtina was right all along- but just to be clear- Gaga was extremely liked by the Academy this year since she won Best Pop Solo Performance, she probably lost Soty and Roty by a little</p>

If my calculations are right, Pharrell has won two Grammys tonight since he produced 51%+ of Sweetener.

Nope, he produced 7/15 songs and the win is not listed on his Grammy page

I think it was like that:

    1. Ariana

    2. P!nk

    3. Taylor

    4. Kelly

    5. Shawn

    6. Camila

They just didnt like the reputation, she got 1 less nom then everybody here so I think it wasn’t even close to winning, Pink was ahead and also maybe Kelly

I am not surprised by Taylor losing since Rep wasn’t that good/acclaimed or successful but Havana losing it’s just a snub- that song was so huge- SO HUGE! It should have won if Shape Of You won- this should win too!
