Since when is the requirement to be SOTY "not forgettable"? The worst decision if you ask me is to base wins on popularity and not on the song itself.

I actually watched it for the first time very recently and liked it a lot. Jessica Lange is a far better actress on the whole but Drew Barrymore really carried that film.
