I loved HTE, is Billies best project, i was shocked at how good it was specially cause of the singles and cause WWAFAWDWG didnt do anything for me. Anyways, Billie is super young and she has a long career (and wins!) ahead of her

Well, i havent listened to this year AOTY (I will have to now), while last years AOTY was my most played album of 2020 (and half of 2021). Last year also awarded one of my all time favourite albums: Fetch the bolt cutters, and my favourite artist ever, Fiona Apple
This year there was a better show, though, and i like the diversity in wins and…[Read more]

Agree with you tbh. The country that loves bombing and invading countries pretending to care about peace and the ukranian people? Not talking about you or any specific person, just the US and this fake outrage and all this ridiculous performative “peace activism” at the grammys?? This is so banal, GOD the hypocrysy! kim theres people that are…[Read more]

My favourite used to be Power of the dog,but now its tied with The Lost daughter. Both great, both sutil masterpieces. TPOTD has more Oscar chances, though, but i still think TLD is phenomenal
I also watched Dont look up and, while it was a very good movie, entretaining, great message, i think its not on the same level of TLD or TPOTD

Just watched The lost daughter and i think its an extraordinary, unique, rare gem of a movie that wont win major Oscars but its still great. Maggie is very talented, cant believe this is her debut. Olivia as always phenomenal, and Buckley and Johnson were great too. Overall a great movie that i wont forget.

Also, i love the Elon Musk slander. Finally movies are calling this fascist lunatics for what they are. They love to mask their greed with “evolution of human kind” or some bs and they are absolute assholes at best, dangerous narcissists and fascists often.

Just seen it. It was a satire. An in-your-face satire, not subtle at all. Maybe its best that way. It was funny at times. Predictable. The actors were great (Jonah and Meryl the funniest characters), the message was even better. It was basically anticapitalist. Which i wholeheartedly agree with. I actually think it is an important message, mostly…[Read more]

So according to Matt Stewart, Cumberbatch is on screen 58 minutes, while Dunst comes in second with 36 minutes (and Smith-McPhee and Plemons come close). He says Phil is the lead antagonist while Rose and Peter are the lead protagonists, which sounds about right.
Its weird how much of a supporting character George (Plemons) seems next to Rose or…[Read more]

Dunst was phenomenal in power of the dog, im glad she is getting recognition.
I dont think she is a “supporting actress” though, she is clearly the lead alongside Cumberbatch

I just watched it today and LOVED it. I read people saying it lacked emotional punch, or that the ending sucked (?). I actually think it was fascinating to watch, and the lack of emotional punch was kind of the point? It was unsettling from beggining to end, really tense and on the edge. It was actually great.
Campion is the MVP in the movie and…[Read more]
