Guysss! Where my swifties at?? We won!!
I have been wanting for new content since the woodvale clowning right after evermore, lol, though i have to admit that Renegade, Red Tv vault tracks and Carolina helped curb the anxiety. Ive loved Taylor since folklore and to this day I use mirrorball/this is me trying and august daily. Evermore also a masterpiece.
Anyways this cover and easthethic is giving dream pop. If she serves an album full of mirrorballs, gold rushes and the archers (is TIMT dream pop too) ill die instantly. The cover also gives alt rock, glam rock, sonic landscapes from the 60s or 70s, bedroom pop, etc, etc. I would love ANYTHING from her except 1989/rep/ Lover type of pop or country. She ve done enough of those. Also i wouldnt like her on disco, wasting her songrwriting talents.
She could do jazz for all i care, or a Fiona Apple type of album, she could do an alt rock alla ok computer, i think she could pull almost anything off.
For now, its giving dream pop alla mirrorball, sad atmospheric bops, melodrama vibes, Bowie and soft rock.
We’ ll see.
July 12, 2022 at 3:34 pm #1205012833Im so happy for The White Lotus, i hope it wins everything it can, cause its deserving
My favourite actors were COOLIDGE (phenomenal) and Bartlett, but they all were great. The series as a whole is excellent it should win best limited series and also writing/ directing and of course acting awards as well.

April 3, 2022 at 8:47 pm #1204902315But one thing I knew for sure was Billie going home empty handed. HTE was a forgetful, flop album carried by the title track which wouldnt win because of her winning ROTY twice in a row.
I loved HTE, is Billies best project, i was shocked at how good it was specially cause of the singles and cause WWAFAWDWG didnt do anything for me. Anyways, Billie is super young and she has a long career (and wins!) ahead of her
ReplyApril 3, 2022 at 8:43 pm #1204902274Well, i havent listened to this year AOTY (I will have to now), while last years AOTY was my most played album of 2020 (and half of 2021). Last year also awarded one of my all time favourite albums: Fetch the bolt cutters, and my favourite artist ever, Fiona Apple
This year there was a better show, though, and i like the diversity in wins and so many POC getting awarded left and right

April 3, 2022 at 7:04 pm #1204900664I support Ukraine, but was it the right place to do all this? Personally, it might feel out of place, but I’m this needs to be saidb
Agree with you tbh. The country that loves bombing and invading countries pretending to care about peace and the ukranian people? Not talking about you or any specific person, just the US and this fake outrage and all this ridiculous performative “peace activism” at the grammys?? This is so banal, GOD the hypocrysy! kim theres people that are dying
Plus whats the ukraine president even doing recording a message for the GRAMMYS? get serious please, what a mamarracho

ReplyJanuary 7, 2022 at 9:52 pm #1204704185Well, i just saw The Last daughter. Colman is phenomenal.
January 7, 2022 at 9:46 pm #1204704174My favourite used to be Power of the dog,but now its tied with The Lost daughter. Both great, both sutil masterpieces. TPOTD has more Oscar chances, though, but i still think TLD is phenomenal
I also watched Dont look up and, while it was a very good movie, entretaining, great message, i think its not on the same level of TLD or TPOTD
