Why are we sure Benedict can win based on BAFTA when BAFTA went 0/5 in Best Actress?
Will and Benedict are frontrunners and they’re both nominated there so of course it will matter who wins that!
plus, it’s more about winning an important award, giving THE speech and creating momentum.February 11, 2022 at 5:47 am #1204796265
Everyone thought that Lady Gaga is THE frontrunner for best actress and now the same people assume that Will Smith is THE frontrunner for best actor! nothing is that predictable until we have CC,SAG and Bafta winners!February 11, 2022 at 5:07 am #1204796222
A great breakdown video of The Power of The Dog’s VFX!February 10, 2022 at 10:24 am #1204794760
Power of the Dog is still inaccessible to mainstream audiences. My friends and family hated it. Half of them didn’t finish it and the ones who did are baffled as to why this is an Oscar nominated film. Keep in mind these same people enjoyed Parasite. I think Dog is OK but much prefer the novel.
Well there’s a reason they don’t vote.February 9, 2022 at 11:52 am #1204792509
Best Actor will go to Smith. POTD will win damn near everything else. Supporting Actor (McPhee) Supporting Actress (Dunst) Director (Campion) and Best Picture
If TPOTD is going to win everything then Benedict Cumberbatch for sure will be in the ride.
Dunst is not going to win btwFebruary 6, 2022 at 11:13 pm #1204781344
Imagine thinking that Benedict wasn’t in top2!!! 🤣
twisting the obvious facts to justify your favorite narration!
TOPTD and DLU performed very well and it totally makes sense that Benedict and Leo were the top2!February 5, 2022 at 11:39 am #1204776924
Not you all forgetting the fact that since 2010, there’s only been 1 time that Bafta didn’t predict the Oscar winner in lead categories right.February 4, 2022 at 1:28 am #1204773142
Cumberbatch and DiCaprio were definitely Bafta’s top2 I don’t think it could’ve been more obvious! Not now
